A Gallatin Valley Staple
If you were thumbing through the 1/4 in thick 1955 Gallatin Valley phone book, yo would find a small listing of "beer establishments." There you would find the number for the Korner Klub with an address west of Bozeman.
By 1980 the little log structure was a staple in the Gallatin Valley and was purchased by Jerry Ritter and family.
In January 1984 the log building burned to the ground. Within the cloud of smoke and ashes, the new famous Korner Klub building and all its "FUNK" was imagined. By the end of 1985, the Korner Klub rebuild was complete and the business was thriving. So much so in 1992, a new kitchen was added along with an addition for a bigger casino. Many additions and changes have come to the Korner Klub every year since then.
In the 1890's and 1990's, Four Corners was lightly populated with few homes and businesses. The Korner Klub became the neighborhood watering hole for locals and many people from out of town.
Over the next forty years the clientele has grown as the valley grew. The Korner and the Ritter family continue to serve our long-time customers, while seeing new faces every day. The Korner has become a must stop for skiers, fisherman, floaters and golfers as well as those traveling from the airport or cities all across Montana.
Thank you for stopping, hope to see you again soon!
